Dispatched from Nepean, Close to the Main Routes
Our shop sits on Longfields Drive, where Nepean meets Barrhaven. Highway 416, Hunt Club Road and the Vimy Memorial Bridge to Riverside South are all a short drive away, which puts most of the south and west end within easy reach.
In general, homes in Nepean, Barrhaven, Riverside South and Manotick are the quickest for us to reach. Kanata, Stittsville and central neighbourhoods come next, while Orléans, Rockland, Kemptville and Gatineau take longer, especially at rush hour on the 417 or the river bridges.
We don’t promise arrival times to the minute, because Ottawa traffic and winter roads don’t cooperate. When you call, we’ll give you an honest estimate. For no heat or no cooling, call our 24/7 emergency HVAC line rather than emailing.

Gatineau, Aylmer and Hull
Oria holds the licences required to work in Quebec, so we serve homes across Gatineau, including the Aylmer and Hull sectors. Heating projects there often look different from Ottawa’s.
Hydro-Québec electricity is inexpensive, and many Gatineau homes heat with electric baseboards. That makes ductless mini-splits and cold-climate heat pumps a common upgrade, adding efficient heating and air conditioning without new ductwork.
Homes on Énergir natural gas get the same furnace, water heater and gas line service we provide on the Ontario side.
Other Communities We Serve
These communities don't have their own page yet, but they are within our service area. Call (613) 866-1869 to confirm scheduling for your address.
Central Ottawa
Centretown, Westboro, Alta Vista, Vanier and the Glebe
Rural Ottawa
Osgoode, Metcalfe, Navan, Cumberland, Dunrobin and Constance Bay
Nearby towns
Russell, Embrun and Arnprior
Older central homes, from Glebe brick houses to Vanier and Alta Vista bungalows, often bring boilers, tight basements and older ductwork. Rural communities such as Osgoode, Metcalfe and Constance Bay often rely on propane, oil or well water, so equipment choices and venting need more planning.

Frequently Asked Questions
Straight answers from licensed Ottawa technicians. Still have a question? Call us any time.
What areas does Oria Heating and Cooling serve?
Oria serves all of Ottawa from its base in Nepean, including Kanata, Stittsville, Barrhaven, Riverside South, Findlay Creek, Manotick, Orléans, Gloucester and central neighbourhoods such as Centretown and Westboro. We also cover Carp, Greely, Richmond, Kemptville, Carleton Place, Rockland, Russell, Embrun and Arnprior, plus Gatineau, Aylmer and Hull in Quebec.
Do you serve Gatineau and the Quebec side?
Yes. Oria holds the licences required to work in Gatineau, Quebec, including the Aylmer and Hull sectors. Many Gatineau homes heat with electric baseboards thanks to low Hydro-Québec rates, so ductless mini-splits and cold-climate heat pumps are common projects. We also install and repair furnaces, water heaters and gas lines for Énergir customers.
How quickly can a technician reach my home?
It depends on where you are, the time of day and the weather. Homes in Nepean, Barrhaven and the south end are usually quickest to reach from our Longfields Drive base, while Orléans, Rockland and Gatineau take longer. We don’t quote arrival times to the minute, but we give you an honest estimate when you call, and same-day repair service is often available.
Do you work on rural homes with propane, oil or well water?
Yes. Many homes around Greely, Osgoode, Carp, Richmond and Kemptville run on propane or oil and draw from wells. We install and service propane furnaces and water heaters, and cold-climate heat pumps are a common replacement for oil heat. Hard well water affects tankless water heaters, so we factor in descaling or treatment when we recommend one.
My community isn't listed. Can you still help?
Probably. The lists on this page cover the communities we serve most, but Oria travels throughout Ottawa and the surrounding region from our Nepean base. Call (613) 866-1869 or send a request through our contact page with your address and the service you need, and we’ll confirm whether we can schedule a visit.
